What We Believe
We believe that the Holy Bible is God-breathed (2 Tim. 3:16) and strive to keep true to the gospel message. We teach that everyone is on one of two paths and that we should strive to be on the narrow path towards everlasting life (Matt. 7:13-14), that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23), but by God’s grace, He offers us the gift of eternal life to those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Rom. 6:23).
We teach that to be saved, one must first hear the good news of the gospel (Rom. 10:14), believe in the gospel (John 3:16), turn away from one's sins (Acts 2:38), and be fully immersed in the waters of baptism (Acts 2:38).
We believe that you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We teach that to be saved, one must hear the good news of the gospel (Rom. 10:14), believe in the gospel (John 3:16), turn away from your sins (Acts 2:38), and be fully immersed in the waters of baptism (Acts 2:38).
Bethany is a Restoration Movement church that seeks to keep Christ at its center. Bethany's leadership strives to continue leading a Christ-centered church and spreading the gospel by practicing the Bible's message and leading with Biblical discernment.
We partake in communion every Sunday during our 11 AM - 12 PM service. We believe that communion serves to remind us of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and is symbol of His saving grace and everlasting love.
We believe that to be baptized is to be fully immersed in the waters of baptism. We believe this because of the original translation of baptism being "baptízō", translating to "immersed," in Greek.
Bethany does not have an official dress code. You can expect many to be dressed in smart-casual to casual attire. Whether you feel comfortable wearing casual or formal attire, Bethany welcomes you and looks forward to seeing you!
Tithing helps our leadership spread the gospel. We are thankful for any amount anyone wishes to give. Because we are called to give cheerfully (2 Cor. 9:6-7), Bethany uses a portion of your tithes to also support various gospel-centered missionaries.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have been baptized in the waters of baptism, then being inducted as an official member of Bethany is an option for you. We would love to have you!
Here at Bethany, we gladly use a portion of received tithes to support other missions that work tirelessly to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive for our missions to be local, regional, national, and international in accordance with Acts 1:8
